October has been a very busy month so far, but an exciting one at that!
This week, I returned to Emirates Aviation College for a service refresher course called “Service EKcellence”. The day was dedicated to helping Cabin Crew learn about the latest Emirates products and service developments, giving us the chance to update our knowledge and enhance our customer service abilities. This course is mandatory for all crew and appears on our rosters when we are scheduled for it.
The course was broken up into several sessions, my favourite being Image and Uniform. We were divided into groups and given a scenario that we had to present to the rest of our class. My group’s scenario was to create a new Emirates marketing campaign in the form of a video. In less than 5 minutes my amazing team produced some amazing content that went over really well with our colleagues!
Next month, I will be returning to Emirates Aviation College for my SEP (Safety and Emergency Procedures) recurrent training. This must be completed once a year in order to renew our licenses.
